Remote Recruitment is hiring a Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations for a UK-based business. Fully remote from South Africa, you'll ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, maintain compliance, and manage a small payroll team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a UK workforce, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain compliance with UK HMRC requirements including PAYE, NI, and pension auto-enrolment
  • Lead and develop a small payroll team, reviewing their work and providing guidance
  • Resolve payroll queries from employees and managers professionally
  • Produce payroll reports and liaise with finance on payroll reconciliations

What You'll Need

  • 5+ years of UK payroll experience with at least 1 year in a management or senior role
  • Strong knowledge of HMRC regulations, RTI submissions, and pension compliance
  • Proficiency in payroll systems such as Sage Payroll, ADP, or similar
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines under pressure
  • Reliable internet and a professional home workspace

What's on Offer

  • Salary: R30,000 per month
  • Full-time, permanent remote position
  • Working hours: 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST)
