Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

NoGigiddy (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website at nogigiddy.com and the NoGigiddy Daily newsletter. We are a referral and content platform that connects users with third-party financial products, earning opportunities, gig platforms, and employment resources. We are not a lender, survey platform, gig employer, insurance provider, or financial advisor.

2. Information We Collect

2a. Information You Provide

We collect information you voluntarily submit, including when you subscribe to the NoGigiddy Daily newsletter through a signup form on our site (for example on a job page or one of our free tests, like the typing test) or through our Typeform signup form. This may include:

• First name and email address
• Earning preferences (e.g., surveys, gig shifts, remote jobs, clinical trials, app bonuses)
• Work style preference (on the go, from home, or both)
• ZIP code (optional, for localizing gig and clinical trial recommendations)
• Last name, phone number, date of birth and gender, when you or a partner you signed up with gave them to us (we use them to fill in partners' sign-up forms for you; see section 6)

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the content of your message.

2b. Information Collected Automatically

When you visit nogigiddy.com, we automatically collect certain technical information, including:

• Pages visited and time spent on each page
• Referring URL (how you arrived at our site)
• Browser type, device type, and operating system
• General geographic location (city/country level — not precise location)
• Clicks on outbound affiliate links
• If you arrive by clicking one of our Microsoft Advertising ads (for example on Bing), the ad click ID (“msclkid”) that Microsoft adds to the link (see section 8a)

2c. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies for analytics, advertising (measuring our own ads and showing ads on our pages), and site functionality, including:

• Google Analytics cookies, to measure how the site is used (section 7).
• Microsoft Advertisingcookies set by Microsoft's Universal Event Tracking (UET) tags, such as _uetsid, _uetvid and _uetmsclkid, Microsoft's own cookies such as MUID, and the _clck and _clskcookies of Microsoft's UET Insights, to measure how our Microsoft ads perform (section 8a).
• Display advertising cookies and similar identifiers set and read by Ezoic, which runs the ads on our pages, and its ad partners, including Google, to choose, show and measure those ads. On our games pages (nogigiddy.com/play), Google AdSense also sets and reads them directly (section 8b).
• ActiveCampaign site tracking, which records the pages you visit on nogigiddy.com and can link those visits to your newsletter subscription.
• Our own cookies, which remember things like how you arrived (for example, from an email or an ad), which offers you have seen, a random session ID (nogigiddy_sid, 30 days), whether you have already signed up, and your email address once you sign up (ng_email, kept for a year; after a Typeform sign-up also ng_ty, for 10 minutes, to show your thank-you page). They also keep the Microsoft ad click ID (ng_msclkid, up to 90 days) and whether your browser sent a Global Privacy Control signal or you opted out with our form (ng_gpc; if so, we also set Microsoft's _uetmsdnscookie, which tells Microsoft's tags to send nothing). If you have an account, login cookies keep you signed in. On our games pages, the counter's cookie (__Secure-ngp) keeps a random ID or your opt-out, up to 400 days after your last visit (section 2d).

2d. Games at www.nogigiddy.com/play and /arcade

Our games save your scores, personal bests and settings in your browser. To learn which games people come back to, the game pages also give your browser a random ID, kept in a cookie that no script on the page can read (the cookie __Secure-ngp, kept up to 400 days after your last visit). Under that ID we count which games you open, your rounds, scores and game results, how long you play, the days and hours you play and return, your type of device, whether the page's ads loaded and were seen, how each visit started (for example one of our ads and its campaign, our email, a search or a link), whether you signed up for our email and which version of the sign-up box you saw, and which version of our Daily Arcade invitation you saw. The ID is not your name, email address, IP address or location. We never connect it to our email lists, sell it, or use it to choose the ads you see, and we don't send it to ad companies (like every page on our site, game pages reach you through our ad partner Ezoic's servers; section 8b). We use the totals to judge which of our own ad campaigns bring players back.

Supabase stores these counts for us. We delete the detailed records after 90 days and the rest within about 13 months of your last visit. A weekly copy without the ID is kept for 35 days for our own analysis. We don't set the ID when your device's time zone is in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, or when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal. To turn it off on a browser and delete what it counted, visit www.nogigiddy.com/play?nocount=1 (the same cookie then only remembers that choice).

On our game pages and the Daily Arcade, Microsoft Clarity records how visitors use the page, such as clicks, taps, scrolling, mouse movement and what changes on the screen, and which moments of a game happen (for example a game loading or a round starting), so we can see what makes people give up and fix it. It never records what you type into our email sign-up box. Clarity sets cookies such as _clck and _clsk, and Microsoft also gets your IP address and browser and device details, under Microsoft's privacy statement. We don't load Clarity when your device's time zone is in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, or after you turn our count off (above).

If you sign up for our games email (“Play: a free game every day”), we store your email address in ActiveCampaign, with the page you signed up on and which version of the sign-up box you saw, and send you one email a day; every email has an unsubscribe link (section 4).

3. How We Use Your Information

• Newsletter delivery: To send you the NoGigiddy Daily email based on your stated preferences.
• Personalization: To tailor newsletter content to your earning interests and location.
• Site improvement: To understand which offers, categories, and pages provide the most value.
• Communications: To respond to support requests, unsubscribe requests, and inquiries.
• Compliance: To meet legal obligations, including CAN-SPAM and applicable data protection laws.
• Analytics: To measure site traffic, track referral performance, and optimize our content.
• Advertising measurement: To learn which of our Microsoft Advertising ads (for example on Bing) bring visitors who sign up and earn us money, so we can improve those ads (section 8a).
• Advertising on our site: To show ads on our pages through Ezoic and its ad partners, including Google, and directly through Google AdSense on our games pages, which helps keep NoGigiddy free (section 8b).

Some of the data we and our partners share for advertising and affiliate tracking (sections 6 and 8) may count as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under California law. You can opt out at any time; see section 11.

4. Email Communications (NoGigiddy Daily)

When you subscribe to the NoGigiddy Daily newsletter, we store your contact information in ActiveCampaign, our email marketing platform. We use this information to send you the newsletter and related communications you have requested and, if you signed up after clicking one of our Microsoft ads, to measure that ad's results (section 8a).

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You may also request removal at any time by:

• Clicking the unsubscribe link in any email
• Emailing us at support@nogigiddy.com

We process all unsubscribe requests within 24 hours. After unsubscribing, you will not receive further marketing emails from us. We comply fully with the CAN-SPAM Act.

5. Third-Party Services

We use a limited set of third-party services to operate the site, the newsletter and advertising. Some work on our behalf; the advertising companies (Microsoft, Ezoic and Google) also use the data for their own advertising purposes. Each operates under its own privacy policy:

6. Affiliate Links and Third-Party Sites

NoGigiddy contains links to third-party websites and services. We may earn a commission on some links when you complete a sign-up or offer with a partner. When you click a link and visit a partner's site, you leave nogigiddy.com and are subject to that partner's privacy policy — not ours.

To be credited for a referral, we pass the partner's affiliate network a click ID.

For some offers we also pass your details so the partner's sign-up form is filled in for you: your name, email address, phone number and ZIP code and, for a few offers, your date of birth and gender. We don't do this when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal or has opted out with our form (section 11). One exception for now: the sign-up form at nogigiddy.com/start is run by Typeform, and when you send it, it passes the name and email you typed to the partner offer it shows next.

Partners report back when a referral converts: the commission and an identifier (our click ID or subscriber ID). Some education partners also send the email address and IP address you gave them and the school you asked about. We use these reports for our own reporting and for the advertising measurement in section 8a.

7. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics (property ID: G-QWD45TNXDL) to learn how visitors use our site. Its cookies hold a random ID that tells visits apart. The data is tied to that ID, not to your name or email address, and we look at it in aggregate.

You may opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

8. Advertising

8a. Microsoft Advertising (our own ads)

We advertise through Microsoft Advertising (for example on Bing search), and we use Microsoft's Universal Event Tracking (UET) tags on nogigiddy.com to measure those ads. Microsoft collects or receives personal data from you and from us to provide Microsoft Advertising:

• On our site: the UET tags set and read cookies such as _uetsid, _uetvid and _uetmsclkid (Microsoft may also use its own cookies, such as MUID). They tell Microsoft which pages you view, including the address of the page you arrived on, and when you sign up for our emails. Microsoft also gets your IP address and browser and device details.
• UET Insights:one of our tags also runs Microsoft's UET Insights (built on Microsoft Clarity), which records how you use our pages, such as clicks, scrolling, time on page and page speed, and sets cookies such as _clck and _clsk.
• The ad click ID:when you arrive by clicking one of our Microsoft ads, Microsoft adds a click ID (“msclkid”) to the link. We keep it in our own cookie, ng_msclkid, for up to 90 days, and store it with your newsletter sign-up and with the offers you click on our site.
• Later results:we send Microsoft that click ID with the time and dollar value of conversions we credit to the ad. For example: a commission we earn when you complete an offer you found on our site, or one from our emails if the ad brought you to our newsletter. We do this for up to 90 days after the ad click. (When the only copy of the click ID we have is the one in Microsoft's own cookie, we count the 90 days from your sign-up or offer click instead.) We send only the click ID, the time and the value, not your name or email address. We use it to measure and improve our ads.

Microsoft uses the data it collects or receives as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Your choices:

• Global Privacy Control (GPC): if your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of sale and sharing. For Microsoft Advertising, that means:
  • Microsoft's UET tags don't load on our pages, so they send Microsoft nothing and set no cookies.
  • We don't save the ad click ID from your visit.
  • We stop using the ad click IDs we saved for this browser before.
  • Once we know who you are (from a sign-up or a link in one of our emails), we also stop using the ones we saved for you.
  • Conversions we sent Microsoft before your signal stay with Microsoft.
• Microsoft's ad settings: you can opt out of personalized ads from Microsoft at account.microsoft.com/privacy/ad-settings.
• Ask us: use the form on our Do Not Sell or Share page or write to support@nogigiddy.com, and we will stop sending Microsoft conversion data connected to your email address.
• You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

8b. Ads on Our Pages (Ezoic and Google)

Our pages show display ads through Ezoic, which runs our ad placements, and its advertising partners, including Google. To choose, show and measure those ads, Ezoic and its partners set and read cookies and similar identifiers on our site and collect information such as your IP address, device, browser and language, and the pages you view; according to Ezoic, a hashed or encrypted email address may also be used. These ads may be personalized based on your visits to our site and other sites.

Our games pages (nogigiddy.com/play) also show ads directly from Google AdSense, without Ezoic: display ads below the game and, between rounds of a game, full-screen ads. Google sets and reads its cookies and similar identifiers on those pages and collects the same kinds of information to choose, show and measure the ads.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to our site and/or other sites on the internet.

Your choices:

• Opt out of personalized advertising from Google at Google's Ads Settings, and from many other ad companies at www.aboutads.info/choices.
• Ezoic describes what it and its partners collect on our site, and lists those partners, at g.ezoic.net/privacy/nogigiddy.com (see also Ezoic's privacy policy, which says you can opt out of its sharing of hashed email addresses by writing to privacy@ezoic.com).
• Global Privacy Control does not yet turn off these ads on our pages. To opt out of them, use the choices above, or block third-party cookies in your browser settings.

9. Data Retention

We retain newsletter subscriber data (name, email, preferences) for as long as you remain subscribed. Upon unsubscribing, your contact is marked inactive in ActiveCampaign. To request full deletion of your data, email us at support@nogigiddy.com. Analytics data is retained per Google's standard retention settings (26 months by default).

Our own database (Supabase) keeps sign-up records (your email address, how you arrived and any ad click ID) and offer-click records until you ask us to delete them. Unsubscribing from our emails does not delete them.

We keep the Microsoft ad click IDs stored with sign-ups and offer clicks, and our record of the conversions we sent Microsoft (click ID, time and value), for as long as we need them to measure our ads and to check what we sent against Microsoft's reports. We don't send a click ID with new conversions after the 90 days described in section 8a.

Our games counter (section 2d) deletes its detailed records after 90 days and the rest within about 13 months of your last visit; www.nogigiddy.com/play?nocount=1 deletes them at our next daily run. A weekly copy without the ID is kept for 35 days; because it has no ID, that link can't remove you from copies already made.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Request that inaccurate data be corrected
• Deletion: Request that your personal data be deleted
• Opt-out of marketing: Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time
• Opt-out of sale or sharing, including ad measurement: See sections 8 and 11
• Data portability: Receive your data in a portable format (where applicable)

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@nogigiddy.com. We act on requests to opt out of sale or sharing within 15 business days and answer other requests within 30 days.

11. California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you specific rights regarding your personal information:

• The right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
• The right to request deletion of your personal information
• The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information
• The right to non-discrimination for exercising your CCPA rights

Sale and sharing.The data Microsoft collects through its UET tags and the ad click IDs and conversion values we send it (section 8a), the data Ezoic and its ad partners collect to show ads on our pages (section 8b), and the click IDs and sign-up details we pass to affiliate partners (section 6), may count as “sharing” or a “sale” of personal information under California law.

Global Privacy Control.If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of sale and sharing. You don't need to do anything else:

• Microsoft's tags don't load for you (section 8a).
• We stop using the Microsoft ad click IDs we saved for this browser. Once we know who you are (from a sign-up or a link in one of our emails), we also stop using the ones we saved for you (section 8a).
• Our offer links and our sign-up thank-you page don't fill in partners' forms with your details (section 6).
• Our games counter doesn't set its ID or count you (section 2d).

GPC does not yet turn off the display ads on our pages (Ezoic and Google; to opt out of those, see section 8b), the partner pre-fill of the Typeform sign-up form at nogigiddy.com/start (section 6), or the click ID our offer links send to the partner network so it can report a sign-up back to us (section 6). Apart from our games counter, which doesn't run when your browser sends one (section 2d), we don't respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals; we do honor Global Privacy Control as described here.

To opt out of anything else, or to make any other CCPA request, use the form on our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page or email support@nogigiddy.com.

12. Children's Privacy

NoGigiddy is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, please contact us at support@nogigiddy.com and we will promptly delete it.

13. Data Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, including HTTPS encryption, access controls, and reputable third-party infrastructure. However, no method of internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated to newsletter subscribers via email. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
