The Commercial Vehicle Group (CVG) is a key part of our Specialist Wholesale business, focused on supplying high-quality parts to the commercial vehicle sector—particularly Japanese truck applications. CVG encompasses trusted brands such as Truckline, WANO and Gibbs, delivering expertise, product depth and strong customer partnerships across Australia.

We are seeking a National Key Account Manager to lead and grow relationships with some of CVG’s largest and most strategic customers.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving national account performance, developing strategic plans, and aligning internal teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes and sustainable revenue growth.

You will also lead and support a team of key account and business development professionals, ensuring strong execution across the network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute national key account strategies to drive revenue and growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Lead negotiations across contracts, tenders and pricing agreements
  • Monitor and analyse account performance, identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Align and collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing and operations
  • Drive consistent execution across the branch and sales network
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Key Account / Business Development Managers
  • Influence internal stakeholders to deliver on national account objectives

You are a highly commercial and strategic sales leader who thrives on building relationships at senior levels and delivering results.

To be successful, you will have:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Key Account Management or Sales Leadership roles
  • Proven ability to manage major national accounts and complex sales cycles
  • Strong leadership experience, with the ability to coach and develop teams
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication and influencing skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and drive outcomes
  • Strong commercial acumen, including understanding of P&L and profitability drivers
  • Experience in automotive or commercial vehicle aftermarket is advantageous but not essential
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools
