We’re looking for a hands-on Mechanical Technician / Assembler to join our Moorebank workshop.
This role focuses on assembling and fitting diesel engines and components in a structured, workshop-based environment. It’s ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys practical, hands-on work.
Whether you come from a mechanical, workshop, trade assistant, or automotive background, this role offers a great opportunity to build skills in a stable and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and fit diesel engines and related components
- Perform basic mechanical adjustments and minor repairs
- Inspect parts for faults, wear, or damage
- Assist with warehouse tasks (loading/unloading, stock handling)
- Operate a forklift (or be trained)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop
- Follow all WHS procedures and company standards
About You
You’ll be someone who:
- Has experience in a mechanical, workshop, or trade-based role
- Has strong hands-on skills and attention to detail
- Can follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Has a positive attitude and is willing to support where needed
- Is reliable and committed to safe work practices
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Trade qualification or currently a 3rd/4th year apprentice
- Background in assembly, workshop, or warehouse environments
- Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain — training provided)
