Remote Recruitment is hiring a Cloud Support Engineer to support and optimise cloud infrastructure for a UK-based technology business. Fully remote from South Africa, you'll manage cloud environments, resolve incidents, and contribute to infrastructure-as-code initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and optimise cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Respond to and resolve cloud infrastructure incidents and alerts
- Implement and manage cloud security controls and access management
- Support CI/CD pipelines and contribute to infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or similar
- Document architecture decisions and maintain runbooks for operational processes
What You'll Need
- 3+ years of cloud engineering or cloud support experience
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP — certification is a plus
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Understanding of containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes
- Reliable fibre internet and a dedicated home workspace
