Our client, a financial organization, is seeking a VCF AVI Architect for a temporary, remote-in-region opportunity. This role leads the architecture and integration of VMware AVI within a VCF 9.1 private cloud. It shapes scalable, secure application delivery across VPC, NSX, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and virtual machine environments. There is no application deadline for this role. *VCF AVI Architect Responsibilities:* * Lead the architectural design of a greenfield Avi deployment within VCF 9.1, including controller topology, capacity planning, and lifecycle standards. * Define Service Engine Group architecture and integration patterns for VCF VPCs and NSX segments. * Design container load-balancing strategies using AKO and AMKO for OpenShift and VMware Kubernetes Service environments. * Architect multi-site GSLB frameworks supporting disaster recovery, active-active operations, and geographically distributed data centers. * Establish automation and infrastructure-as-code standards for deploying Virtual Services, Pools, and Avi Service Engines. *VCF AVI Architect Qualifications:* * Demonstrated technical expertise with VMware Avi and enterprise application-delivery architecture. * Experience designing solutions within VCF 9.1 private cloud environments. * Knowledge of VPC, NSX networking, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and VMware Kubernetes Service platforms. * Experience with AKO, AMKO, global server load balancing, and resilient multi-site architectures. * Ability to provide technical leadership, establish architectural governance, and advise infrastructure, networking, and security stakeholders. *Perks and Benefits:* * Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance. * Life Insurance. * 401(k) Program. * Commuter Benefit. * eLearning and Ongoing Training. * Education Reimbursement.
