You'll design scalable, low-latency trading systems that process millions of transactions daily, lead architectural decisions balancing performance, reliability, and maintainability across the trading stack, mentor senior engineers and set engineering standards across the organization, collaborate with traders and quantitative researchers to translate trading logic into robust systems, and oversee system upgrades and technology migrations.
You need 12+ years of software architecture and systems engineering experience with deep expertise in low-latency systems, distributed computing, and high-performance data processing. A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is expected. Proven experience scaling trading systems at major financial institutions is essential.
