We are seeking a Subsidiary Controller to help build the company’s global financial infrastructure from the ground up.
This is a hands-on role that combines professional leadership, day-to-day execution, and close partnership with senior management.
Responsibilities
Full responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings in accordance with US GAAP
Prepare and maintain management reports (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet, forecasts)
Manage ongoing work with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions
Oversee cash flow management, including budget vs. actual monitoring
Provide financial and strategic support to the management team in decision-making
Establish and implement internal controls and financial processes
Oversee payroll, vendors, customers, bank reconciliations, and credit card reconciliations (as needed, together with bookkeeping)
Prepare materials for the board and investors, including financial reports and analyses
Support fundraising processes, grants, and loans as needed
Requirements
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – must
2-3 years of experience as a Controller in a company and/or at an accounting firm (Big 4) – must
Previous experience in a tech/startup environment - must
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Israeli tax regulations (or relevant local tax laws)
High proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., Priority, NetSuite)
High level of English – spoken and written
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong business orientation
Strong communication skills, with the ability to highlight issues, propose solutions, and work closely with management and investors
