What You'll Do
Deep expertise in one of the following, with working knowledge of the others valued:
Application & AI Security (primary focus): Own secure SDLC and defend our AI product stack against LLM-specific threats — SAST/DAST in CI/CD (Semgrep, CodeQL), OWASP LLM Top 10, prompt injection defense.
Cloud & Infrastructure Security: Secure cloud environments, reduce standing privilege — AWS/GCP, CSPM, Terraform IaC gates, JIT access.
Security Operations: Detection & incident response — SIEM, MITRE ATT&CK, SOAR, MTTD/MTTR ownership.
Data Security: Classification and protection of audio, transcription, and PII at scale — DLP, Snowflake permissions, audit logging.
What We're Looking For
3+ years hands-on security engineering — building and shipping controls, not just assessing them. (Strong consulting/pentest backgrounds with a demonstrated build portfolio — personal projects, tooling, automation — are welcome.)
Real depth in at least one domain above, backed by tools and delivery you can speak to concretely.
Comfortable owning scope and making tool/architecture decisions with reasonable autonomy — you won't always have a pre-built framework, but you'll have support, not total blank-slate isolation.
Able to communicate risk clearly to engineering and leadership.
Familiarity with relevant frameworks (NIST CSF, CIS, OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK, SOC 2) — nice to have, not gatekeeping.
