About Us
Job Scope:
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, in particular under MiCAR, MiFID, and PSD II.
- Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and audits to identify potential areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments, providing guidance to the business on necessary compliance adjustments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, including training and awareness programs.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory reports and documentation to ensure timely compliance with reporting obligations.
- Support the business in obtaining and maintaining necessary licenses and regulatory approvals in Austria.
Requirements:
- A law degree (LLB, JD, Mag. iur., LL.M., or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years of legal experience, preferably within an in-house legal team, regulatory authority, financial firm or law firm. Work experience in Austria and/or Germany preferred.
- Strong understanding of Austrian and EU laws relating to regulatory compliance in particular with respect to MiCAR, MiFID and E-Money Directive / Payment Services Directive.
- At least 3 years of professional experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced, regulated environment with high integrity and discretion.
