About the Role
We are recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join our RAPID team. This role involves providing high-quality, responsive support to adults and children with Complex needs in our clients homes, Community care calls and Supported Living.
You will be part of a fast-paced service where flexibility, confidence, and strong decision-making skills are essential.
Essential Experience
Candidates must have experience in the following areas:
- Working with clients with challenging behaviours
- CPI training (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
- Moving and handling
- Supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism
- Experience with supported living clients
- Mental health support experience
- Minimum of 2 years Complex Care experience is preferred
About You
We are looking for HCAs who are:
- Confident and calm when handling challenging situations
- Skilled in de-escalation and behaviour management
- Minimum of 2 years in Complex Care is preferred.
- Reliable, adaptable, and professional
- Able to work quickly within a rapid-response rota
- Compassionate and committed to high standards of care
Requirements
- Must be a driver and have there own car (no walkers or non-drivers)
- Must be able to travel across Telford and surrounding areas within a 100 mile radius
- Non-smokers preferred
- Fluent in English
