We are seeking a professional and organised Onboarding Manager to join our team in Bath, United Kingdom. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective onboarding programmes that ensure a smooth transition for new employees into our organisation.
- Design and oversee comprehensive onboarding programmes tailored to different roles and departments
- Collaborate with HR team and department heads to identify and address specific onboarding needs
- Coordinate and conduct orientation sessions for new hires, introducing them to company culture, policies, and procedures
- Develop and maintain onboarding materials, including welcome packs, training schedules, and resource guides
- Implement and manage digital onboarding platforms to streamline the process
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of onboarding programmes, gathering feedback and making improvements as necessary
- Ensure compliance with UK employment laws and regulations throughout the onboarding process
- Act as a primary point of contact for new employees during their initial period of employment
- Coordinate with IT, facilities, and other departments to ensure new hires have necessary equipment and access
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a cohesive onboarding experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in HR or onboarding roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with employees at all levels
- Proficiency in HR software and onboarding platforms
- Excellent project management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful onboarding programmes
- Strong presentation and training abilities
- Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills
- Knowledge of UK employment laws and regulations
- Understanding of best practices in employee onboarding and retention
- CIPD certification or other relevant HR qualifications preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
