A client of ours requires a “Mechanic Recruiter” to perform operations through online platform. In the coming months, the company hopes to retain the manager in-house. He/She will be operating out of the UAE.
The mechanic recruiter will be required to sign up over 21,600 mechanics and 10,000 car wash operatives. It is critical that the mechanics that sign up own iPhones. This is because the company’s app currently runs only on iOS.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Mechanic Recruiting Manager will manage the recruitment to ensure hiring of qualified operatives (mechanics and vehicle wash) to meet the company’s current and future needs. The recruitment manager interviews job applicants. Additionally, the manager is fully responsible for the development of the effective recruitment process and is responsible for the full utilization of the social media recruitment and the entire social media communication of HR. The manager will be expected to stay up-to-date on labor legislation and inform managers about changes in regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
To be successful in this role, mechanic recruitment manager should have a HR background and. He/she should also be knowledgeable about labor legislation.
- Experience screening and evaluating mechanics
- 5 years’ experience managing an automotive workshop, preferably attached to a dealership
- Familiarity with Automotive systems (vehicle layout, function and location of parts)
- Knowledge of mechanical issues, warranties, service and general repairs
- Organizational ability
- Technically competent with ability to train others
- Customer service ability
- Good communication ability both verbally and in writing.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Fluency in Arabic and English is preferable
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office Package
