MezTal is looking for a Junior Accounts Receivable Specialist to support the finance operations of a U.S.-based client. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates in Accounting or Finance who want to begin building international professional experience while working with a U.S. team.
In this role, you will assist with accounts receivable activities, customer communication, and payment follow-ups while collaborating closely with the accounting team. You will also gain exposure to U.S. accounting processes and international business communication, making this a strong starting point for a career in accounting and finance.
The ideal candidate is confident communicating in English, proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the accounts receivable process, including follow-up with customers regarding outstanding invoices
- Communicate with clients via phone and email in English to resolve payment questions or discrepancies
- Assist with tracking outstanding balances and updating AR records
- Maintain clear documentation of customer payments and account status
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial records
- Provide support during month-end close activities related to AR
- Maintain professional communication with both internal teams and external clients
- Escalate payment issues or account concerns to senior team members when necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (recent graduates are welcome)
- 0–1 year of experience in accounting, finance, customer service, or call center environments
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confidence handling phone calls with clients in English
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow professionally
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
