What You'll Do:
- Design, build, and integrate electrical ground support equipment (EGSE), including test racks, harnessing, and supporting hardware used for spacecraft integration and test.
- Support the design and execution of the flatsat testbed used for hardware/software integration,
- Perform hands-on electrical assembly, including soldering, crimping, connector assembly, cable routing, continuity checks, and harness inspection.
- Troubleshoot electrical hardware and test setups using standard lab equipment such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and logic analyzers.
- Work closely with electrical, software, systems, and AI&T engineers to bring spacecraft hardware from initial design through integration and test.
Your Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical field.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment.
- Attention to detail and an appreciation for workmanship, documentation, and repeatable hardware assembly
Nice to have:
- Hands-on experience with soldering, crimping, or electronics assembly
- Experience building and troubleshooting electrical systems using common laboratory equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, or logic analyzers.
Hourly Rate:
$25-$29/hour
