We are looking for an experienced BIM Modeler – Electrical with 8–10 years of relevant experience in commercial projects. The candidate will be responsible for developing detailed electrical BIM models, preparing drawings and documentation, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring the quality and timely delivery of project deliverables.

  • Develop and maintain detailed Electrical BIM models using Revit MEP.
  • Prepare electrical layouts, lighting, power distribution, cable trays, containment, and other electrical services models.
  • Develop and update Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and electrical equipment layouts as required.
  • Coordinate electrical models with Architectural, Structural, HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting disciplines.
  • Identify and resolve clashes and coordination issues using Navisworks or other BIM coordination tools.
  • Prepare detailed shop drawings, sections, schedules, and documentation as required.
  • Ensure BIM models and drawings comply with project standards, specifications, and BIM Execution Plans.
  • Participate in BIM coordination meetings and collaborate with architects, engineers, BIM coordinators, and other stakeholders.
  • Review models and drawings for accuracy, completeness, and quality.
  • Support the BIM team in resolving technical and modeling-related issues.
  • Maintain model integrity and ensure timely completion of project deliverables.
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 8–10 years of relevant experience in electrical BIM modeling.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
  • Good working knowledge of Navisworks and BIM coordination processes.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, cable trays, containment, earthing, and ELV systems.
  • Experience working on large-scale commercial projects such as hotels, hospitals, offices, retail, mixed-use developments, and high-rise buildings.
  • Knowledge of BIM standards, modeling practices, and multidisciplinary coordination.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
