Roles and Responsibilities:
o Data warehouse development and ETL design
o Create and maintain optimal data pipelines.
o Build and maintain SQL procedures and ETL processes.
o Build analytics and/or transformation tools using Python, R technologies.
o Design and implement technical vision for client project.
o Assist in requirements gathering and data analysis as needed.
o Estimate work effort and assist the Project Manager with task planning and LOE (level of effort) estimates.
o Review work product of others for compliance with development standards.
o Provide guidance and mentoring in database development best practices.
o Write technical documentation.
Technical Skills:
o Data warehousing technologies: Snowflake, Redshift, etc.
o Relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including MySQL and DynamoDB.
o Data pipeline and workflow management tools: Azkaban, Luigi, Airflow, etc.
o AWS cloud services: EC2, EMR, S3, Lambda, SQS,
o Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, C# etc.
Graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or another quantitative field.
