We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data and Reporting Manager to join our organisation in Bath, United Kingdom. In this pivotal role, you will lead our data analytics team, driving data-driven decision-making across the company and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, actionable insights to key stakeholders.

  • Oversee the development and implementation of data analytics strategies aligned with organisational goals
  • Manage a team of data analysts, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities
  • Design and maintain robust reporting systems and dashboards to support business intelligence initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and deliver insightful analyses
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all reporting and analytics processes
  • Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures
  • Present complex data findings to senior management in a clear and concise manner
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and business intelligence
  • Optimise data collection, storage, and retrieval processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Foster a data-driven culture within the organisation, promoting the use of analytics in decision-making
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in data analysis and reporting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing data teams
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools such as Tableau and Power BI
  • Strong skills in statistical analysis software, including R, Python, or SAS
  • Expertise in database management systems, particularly SQL and Oracle
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Demonstrated experience in project management methodologies
  • In-depth knowledge of data governance, data quality management, and business intelligence best practices
  • Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations, including GDPR
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Analytics Professional or Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate are desirable
