We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data and Reporting Manager to join our organisation in Bath, United Kingdom. In this pivotal role, you will lead our data analytics team, driving data-driven decision-making across the company and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, actionable insights to key stakeholders.
- Oversee the development and implementation of data analytics strategies aligned with organisational goals
- Manage a team of data analysts, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities
- Design and maintain robust reporting systems and dashboards to support business intelligence initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and deliver insightful analyses
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all reporting and analytics processes
- Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures
- Present complex data findings to senior management in a clear and concise manner
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and business intelligence
- Optimise data collection, storage, and retrieval processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Foster a data-driven culture within the organisation, promoting the use of analytics in decision-making
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in data analysis and reporting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing data teams
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools such as Tableau and Power BI
- Strong skills in statistical analysis software, including R, Python, or SAS
- Expertise in database management systems, particularly SQL and Oracle
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Demonstrated experience in project management methodologies
- In-depth knowledge of data governance, data quality management, and business intelligence best practices
- Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations, including GDPR
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Analytics Professional or Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate are desirable
