Key Objectives
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries with empathy and clarity.
• Assist patients in navigating clinic services, appointment scheduling, and product information.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and clinic policies.
• Support the clinic team by fostering a welcoming and efficient environment for all visitors.
Responsibilities
• Respond promptly and professionally to patient calls, emails, and in-person inquiries.
• Provide detailed information about medical marijuana products, clinic procedures, and eligibility requirements.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments, managing calendars effectively.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and other relevant healthcare regulations.
• Document interactions and update patient records accurately in the clinic’s database.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to resolve patient concerns.
• Assist with billing inquiries and direct patients to appropriate resources as needed.
• Stay informed about industry trends, product updates, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare or customer service is a plus.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably within healthcare or related fields.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an empathetic and patient-centered approach.
• Proficiency with computer systems and customer management software.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Familiarity with medical marijuana regulations and terminology is an advantage but not required.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including occasional evenings or weekends.
