**Sales Assistant – Butler, Australia**

We're looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Casual Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team in Butler, Australia. In this role, you'll be the backbone of our sales operations, providing exceptional support to our sales team and customers while contributing to our store's success. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service, maintaining our store environment, and helping us achieve our sales targets.   • Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting customers, understanding their needs, and providing knowledgeable product recommendations
  • Support the sales team in achieving store sales targets and performance goals through proactive engagement and follow-up
  • Assist with stock management, inventory control, and merchandising to ensure products are well-organized and visually appealing
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-presented store environment that reflects our brand standards
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with empathy and professionalism
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive work environment
  • Participate in product training and stay informed about our offerings to provide accurate information
  • Support promotional activities and special events as needed
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety practices consistently

**Required Skills & Experience:**

  • Strong work ethic and proven organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Basic computer literacy and proficiency with point-of-sale systems (or willingness to learn)
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation with a genuine passion for helping others
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Time management capabilities and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Sales awareness and understanding of basic sales principles

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Previous experience in retail, sales, or customer service environments
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems
  • Experience meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Product knowledge in relevant industry (not essential – we'll train you!)
  • Certification or training in customer service or sales (preferred but not required)
