Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain the buffet station, ensuring all items are displayed attractively and replenished efficiently
- Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner, guiding them through the buffet offerings and providing information on menu items
- Keep the buffet area clean and organized, ensuring proper sanitation and food safety standards are followed at all times
- Monitor the buffet station during service, promptly replenishing items and removing any unsightly or expired food
- Interact with guests to anticipate their needs and promptly address any concerns or requests
- Assist in the preparation and setup of banquet buffets as required
- Collaborate with the kitchen and restaurant staff to ensure seamless coordination and efficient service delivery
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role or in the hospitality industry is preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to anticipate and meet guests' needs
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring buffet station is visually appealing and properly stocked
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining composure and efficiency under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with guests and colleagues
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations, ensuring compliance at all times
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
