As the Assistant Manager, you'll be working closely with the Store Manager, playing a hands‑on leadership role - supporting daily operations, driving sales results, and developing a customer‑focused team that takes pride in getting it right.

You will be rostered for 38 hours per week, working Sunday through to Friday.

 

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Supporting the Store Manager in leading daily operations and keeping the store running smoothly
  • Driving sales performance by consistently delivering on store targets 
  • Supporting the achievement of team and individual KPIs through hands-on leadership and accountability
  • Coaching, motivating, and developing team members to build confidence and capability
  • Assisting with stock management, inventory control, and maintaining availability
  • Creating a safe, positive, and well-run store environment where both team and customers feel supported

 

Who we're looking for

You’ll bring a strong retail mindset and a genuine desire to lead and grow people. Ideally, you’ll have:

  • 2–3 years’ experience in retail leadership or assistant management
  • Proven experience working towards sales KPIs and budgets
  • Experience with inventory and stock management
  • Experience in retail or automotive industry (advantageous but not essential)
  • A genuine passion for customer service and team engagement
  • A positive, hands‑on attitude and a willingness to keep learning
