The individual’s primary responsibility is to assist the Head of Compliance and MLCO/CO in ensuring the compliance of the business with applicable regulation and to support and protect the business against fraud and money laundering risk, exposure to terrorist financing and proliferation, and related reputational risk.

What You'll Do - 

  • You'll support the Head of Compliance, MLCO/CO, and the wider Compliance team by managing daily compliance activities, responding to internal queries, and contributing to Group-level reporting.
  • You'll deliver and monitor the Compliance Monitoring Plan (CMP), ensuring adherence to deadlines, compliance testing standards, and the timely completion of corrective actions.
  • You'll perform CMP testing of policies and procedures to evaluate design effectiveness, identify improvement opportunities, and support compliance with Group and regulatory requirements.
  • You'll manage screening hit escalations when required and assist in incorporating regulatory updates into licensee policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks.
  • You'll ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies by exercising sound judgment, identifying potential risks, and escalating concerns to senior management in a timely and effective manner.

  • You will hold an ICA Diploma or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • You will be able to demonstrate commitment to Continued Professional Development (CPD).
  • You will hold a minimum of three years’ experience in a Compliance role.
  • You will hold compliance experience within the trust or fiduciary sector. 
  • You will have a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
