Answer client questions on API calls, documentation, authentication, feature behavior, and integration best practices.

Conduct technical deep dives with top clients on topics such as order entry, market data, position and wallet consistency, asset management, and account management.

Gather client feedback, analyze issues, and provide clear recommendations or solutions to improve integration success and client satisfaction.

Maintain and improve Open API infrastructure to support product feature upgrades, launches, and day-to-day operational stability.

Work with multiple business lines to ensure API specifications, delivery processes, and infrastructure components remain aligned.

Support the full API ecosystem lifecycle, including:

API spec design and maintenance
-
SDK updates and delivery
-
Skill Hub integration
-
MCP-related capabilities
-
Bybit AI and related derivative products
-
Help maintain internal Open API management dashboards for traffic control, delivery records, and infrastructure observability.

Write and maintain comprehensive API documentation, including developer guides, integration instructions, code samples, and use cases.

Maintain and update Open API SDKs across multiple languages, including:

Golang

Java
-
C#

JavaScript

Rust
-
Python
-
Improve developer experience by identifying unclear API behaviors, documentation gaps, and integration pain points.

Diagnose and resolve API-related issues, including API call failures, latency issues, permission/authentication errors, and inconsistent data behavior.

Collaborate with development teams to investigate root causes and drive fixes for technical issues.
-
Analyze whether issues come from:

API usage problems
-
integration design problems
-
infrastructure bottlenecks
-
model usage or AI workflow issues
-
Support client-facing and internal escalation handling across L1/L2/L3 scenarios where needed.

Monitor API performance and usage data to identify bottlenecks, abnormal behavior, and optimization opportunities.

Build and maintain dashboards and reporting using tools such as:

Conduct exchange-level benchmarking and comparison across major CEX APIs, including Binance, OKX, Bitget, KuCoin, Coinbase, and Bybit.

Study full order-cycle and step-by-step latency/performance monitoring among top exchanges, and propose optimization recommendations.
-
Write SQL batches or scheduled jobs to extract data based on client or internal business requirements.
-
Organize and analyze operational and traffic data to support business decisions, infrastructure planning, and client reporting.
-
Support reporting on API usage patterns and funnel conversion metrics.
-
Have hands-on understanding and practical experience with major coding and agent models/platforms, such as:

Claude Code

OpenClaw

Evaluate and improve how large language models interact with Bybit APIs and developer tools.

Identify problems related to:

model usage
-
prompting and workflow design
-
API integration patterns with LLMs

model-tool combination issues

Contribute to the design and evolution of Bybit’s AI-enabled developer ecosystem, including Skill Hub, MCP, and Bybit AI-related solutions.

Work closely with engineering, product, operations, and business teams to support new API features and infrastructure improvements.
-
Participate in API product planning, version upgrades, rollout preparation, and technical enablement.
-
Act as a bridge between customers, support teams, and internal product/development teams by translating business and technical needs into actionable improvements.
-
3+ years of experience in Open API development, exchange connectivity software development, technical implementation, or technical/trading support roles
-
Experience in API integration, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, and debugging.
-
Experience supporting external clients or internal stakeholders on technical API-related matters.
-
Proven ability in professional communication, technical account support, and issue coordination.
-
Strong understanding of common web API standards and implementation methods, such as RESTful APIs and WebSocket APIs.
-
Familiarity with HTTP, WebSocket, JSON, and common data exchange formats.
-
Proficient in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, with the ability to read and understand code to support client integration.
-
Familiarity with SQL and scheduled/batch data extraction.
-
Experience with API testing, debugging, and performance analysis.
-
Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, ELK, and Kibana is a plus.
-
Fluent in English, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
-
Additional languages such as Russian or Spanish are a plus.

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical problems and solutions clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
