As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities
- Maintain financial records by entering financial transactions and ensuring accuracy of data.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely billing and collections.
- Prepare and process monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Support the budgeting process by collecting data and assisting with financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and advice.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as an Accounting Assistant or similar role in the hospitality industry is a plus.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
