Our client, a manufacturing organization, is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor for a temp-to-perm opportunity working on-site. This role leads daily production operations, develops hourly teams, and drives safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement. The supervisor coordinates resources and cross-functional efforts to meet production goals and customer requirements. *2nd Shift Production Supervisor Responsibilities:* * Lead, coach, mentor, and develop hourly production employees while fostering accountability and teamwork. * Oversee daily production activities, assign labor and resources, and communicate performance expectations. * Monitor and improve safety, quality, productivity, downtime, and labor-utilization metrics. * Promote 5S practices, identify safety concerns, and implement corrective actions. * Lead Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, root-cause analysis, and other continuous improvement initiatives. *2nd Shift Production Supervisor Qualifications:* * At least five years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. * Experience supervising hourly production employees and managing workforce activities. * Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, production scheduling, and workforce management. * Experience tracking, analyzing, and improving operational KPIs. * Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, including 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement. *Perks and Benefits:* * Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance. * Life Insurance. * 401(k) Program. * Commuter Benefit. * eLearning and Ongoing Training. * Education Reimbursement.
