The Role

The internet is only as good as the people keeping it in check. As a Content Moderator at NoGigiddy, you'll review user-submitted content — posts, comments, images, videos, and profiles — and make judgment calls about what meets community standards and what doesn't. It's important work, and we don't take it lightly. We provide thorough training, clear decision frameworks, and regular wellness check-ins because we know this work can be heavy. If you're level-headed, fair, and consistent under pressure, we want you on our trust and safety team.

Responsibilities

• Review user-generated content across text, image, and video formats against established community guidelines
• Make accurate, consistent moderation decisions — approve, remove, escalate, or restrict — at volume
• Apply content policies fairly and without personal bias across a diverse range of content types
• Escalate high-severity content (CSAM, threats, illegal activity) immediately through proper channels
• Document moderation decisions with clear reasoning for audit and appeals review
• Meet daily review volume targets without sacrificing decision accuracy
• Participate in calibration sessions to maintain alignment with policy updates

Requirements

• No degree required
• No prior moderation experience needed — full policy and tool training provided
• Strong critical thinking and the ability to make judgment calls in ambiguous situations
• Emotional resilience — this role involves exposure to disturbing content on a regular basis
• Consistent, bias-free decision-making at high volume
• Ability to follow detailed policy documentation and apply it accurately
• Reliable internet and a private, distraction-free workspace
