We are currently seeking an Account Executive to play a key role in growing our Online sampling division. This is a hunter role and offers the chance to contribute to the development of the division and influence the way we operate, build, and grow our Online sales organization.
Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed assigned sales and revenue targets.
- Build and continue to refine a strategy for new business outreach.
- Meet weekly KPIs for outbound activities and record CRM activities in real-time.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline focused on obtaining net new business.
- Educate prospective clients on our capabilities, services, and unique value.
- Respond to client requests for information, create custom quotes, close business, and coordinate with the project management team to execute.
- Attend industry conferences to generate leads, increase company branding, and further build relationships with clients.
- Create and maintain strong “trusted advisor” relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Partner closely with internal service & account teams to ensure successful client engagements and relationships.
- Attend industry-related events for continued education and optimal prospecting opportunities.
- Track sales performance against objectives, inform on results, and strategize ways to continually improve performance.
What we're looking for:
- 3+ years of successful new business development experience, working at a panel/sample company in the Market Research Industry.
- Proven success in developing and owning a new sales funnel via prospecting.
- Highly disciplined, self-motivated individual who prospects and hunts.
- Experience as a trusted advisor and consultant to clients, building their trust and loyalty.
- Ability to interact with clients in a friendly and constructive manner, characterized by outstanding verbal and written communication, and aligned with our culture of openness and respect.
- Deep understanding of the competitor landscape among online market research, panel, and sampling companies.
- Self-starter with the ability to solve problems and improvise to achieve sales goals with limited resources.
- Advanced influencing and negotiating skills required to gain buy-in from clients.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and approaches to selling.
- Experience or comfort in an entrepreneurial environment with aggressive goals.
- Experience selling full-service research or to end clients is not required, but a plus.
- Existing book of business highly desired.
To know: We are a virtual company, which means you’ll be working remotely from the location of your choice. Remote work experience is preferred, but not required. Some travel is required.
This role is limited to those in the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, New Mexico, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Wyoming.

The base salary for this position is $75,000 - $110,000 annually, plus a generous commission plan paid quarterly.
